If you've come here from my About page looking for the more conventional version, this is it.
My work might sit outside some conventional boxes, but the experience behind it spans leadership, research, emergency management, behavioural change, communication and more than two decades of studying how people think, respond and change.
A little of the formal stuff
My professional work has taken me across corporate leadership, government, emergency management, university research and education.
I've supported emergency welfare responses during major bushfires, floods and COVID-19, including serving as Deputy Welfare Functional Area Coordinator during the 2019–20 NSW bushfires.
I'm also a Research Assistant with the University of Sydney's Centre for Disability Research and Policy, working in disability-inclusive emergency planning and preparedness.
Alongside that work, I've spent years studying the human side of change — from psychology and behaviour through to subconscious and energetic approaches.
Different worlds.

And plenty of ongoing learning that doesn't necessarily come with letters after your name.
Curiosity has always been part of the job.
The Leader Within
I published The Leader Within in 2020.
The book explores self-awareness, purpose, intuition, choice and the idea that leadership begins with learning to lead ourselves.
In 2021, it received an e-Literature Award.
A lot has evolved in my work since I wrote it, but the central idea hasn't:
You have a choice.
Speaking, podcasts & media
I speak about intuition, self-referenced leadership, energetic awareness, conscious decision-making and what happens when we stop outsourcing our authority.
I'm particularly interested in conversations that allow the practical, strategic and intuitive worlds to sit at the same table without pretending they're unrelated.
